WorkVoice

Document №02 · The Agreement

Terms of Use

An understanding between you, the App Store, and an indie studio operating out of Baku. We have tried to keep it brief, plain, and free of the usual fog.

Effective 5 May 2026 Version 1.0 Reading time: 7 min

Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or otherwise using WorkVoice, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app — and if you have already paid for a subscription, request a refund through Apple within the period Apple permits.

What the service is

WorkVoice is an iOS application that simulates English-language workplace conversations — meetings, interviews, performance reviews, presentations — and offers feedback on what you said. It is intended as a practice studio, not as professional language certification, career counselling, or therapy. The app does not promise that any user will pass any specific exam, secure any specific role, or achieve any specific level of fluency.

Account & eligibility

WorkVoice does not maintain its own accounts. Authentication is handled by your Apple ID. You must be at least sixteen years of age to use the app. By using WorkVoice, you confirm you are using your own Apple ID and that you have the right to enter into this agreement on your own behalf or on behalf of your employer where applicable.

Subscriptions

WorkVoice is offered as a freemium app with optional auto-renewing subscriptions. The current plans are:

  • Weekly — billed every week. Renews automatically until cancelled.
  • Monthly — billed every month. Renews automatically until cancelled.
  • Yearly — billed once per year, in full, on the day of purchase. Renews automatically until cancelled.

Prices in your local currency are shown in the app at the moment of purchase. Apple converts prices according to its own price tier system; small variations between regions are normal. Payment is taken at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless turned off at least twenty-four hours before the end of the current period.

Where to manage. All subscription controls live in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone. WorkVoice cannot start, stop, or refund a subscription on your behalf — that authority belongs to Apple.

Free trials

Some plans include an introductory free trial — typically three days for the monthly plan and seven days for the yearly plan, where eligible. The trial begins at the moment of purchase. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the regular price will be charged automatically. Free trial eligibility is determined by Apple based on whether your Apple ID has previously redeemed a trial in the same subscription group.

Cancellation & refunds

You may cancel at any time, with or without reason. Cancellation prevents future renewals; it does not produce a prorated refund for the unused remainder of the current period. If you believe a charge is in error, request a refund directly from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com — Apple, not WorkVoice, controls refunds for App Store transactions.

If you have a circumstance Apple cannot resolve, write to us at asif.safarov@digitup.az and we will do what we can.

A note about AI feedback

WorkVoice generates language and content feedback using on-device AI models. These models are statistical and approximate; they will sometimes mistake fluent English for an error, miss a real error, or recommend a phrasing that is technically correct but stylistically off for your situation. Please treat the feedback as one informed input, not as authoritative correction.

"Treat the feedback as one informed input, not as authoritative correction."

WorkVoice is not a substitute for a qualified language tutor, a career coach, or a hiring decision. Decisions about your professional life should not be made on the basis of any single suggestion from this app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the AI models or proprietary code from the app.
  • Use the app to harass, threaten, or impersonate others, or to record private conversations without consent.
  • Resell, redistribute, or repackage the app or its content.
  • Circumvent the subscription system or attempt to obtain premium features by fraudulent means.

Intellectual property

The WorkVoice app, its name, its visual design, the prompt library, and all original content are owned by the studio and protected by international copyright. You retain full ownership of every word you say into the app — your transcripts, your responses, your debriefs are yours and stay on your device.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WorkVoice is provided "as is" and "as available". The studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including, for instance, the outcome of an interview or performance review you happened to practice for using the app. Where mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction grants rights that cannot be limited, those rights apply in full.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms or use the app in a way that would expose other users or the studio to legal risk. In the rare event we do so, we will notify you and refund any unused portion of the current subscription period through Apple where Apple's process permits.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions, and subject to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.

Changes

If we make material changes to these terms, we will update the version date at the top and notify you in-app before the changes take effect. Continued use of the app after that point indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

One last thing. If anything in these terms strikes you as unclear, write to asif.safarov@digitup.az. The studio reads its own mail.
